My name is Kristin Sauer. I was born and raised in South Florida. I went to a university in Kentucky and have been living here since graduating in 2021. Photography has taken many phases throughout my life, but it has been there no matter the form. When I was sixteen, I received my first ever professional camera. Buying that camera was the first step in pursuing the art form I learned I could not live without. From then on, I decided to pursue an Art & Design degree to better my knowledge and understanding of the world of photography.
Using the experiences I’ve gained over the years and in school, I strive to be an artist who encapsulates God’s amazing grace through my camera lens by capturing the seemingly unnoticeable, everyday and mundane wonders of God’s creation from close proximities or far-off so others may admire the details within both perspectives. Embracing the world in its natural and unaltered way is deeply rooted in my morals and lifestyle, which I desire to reflect in my images. I wish to share my experiences in nature and life across the expanse of creation with others so we may all bask in the glory of God’s magnificent design. I hope my photos will assist those to take joy in the everyday wonders and encounter the world with me.
